Making of Uzbekistan Pearl Necklace

Concept and Inspiration

The design process starts with inspiration. Somewhere between those arches and endless skies, inspiration found me and changed the way I create forever. Travel doesn’t just show you new places; sometimes, it reveals new pieces of yourself. This journey was more than travel, it became the beginning of a masterpiece.

Detailed Sketches

Once the initial idea is clear, awe transforms into imagination. Geometry becomes lines on paper.

CAD Modelling

This digital model is essential for both client approvals and production planning. It also helps assess how the piece will look from different angles, how stones will be set, and whether the structure is practical and wearable.

Wax or Resin Prototyping

With the design finalised, a wax or resin model of the piece is created, usually using 3D printing. This prototype gives designers and clients a tangible version of the jewelry before it’s cast in metal. It’s also a crucial checkpoint for checking proportions and comfort.

Material Selection

The next step is choosing the materials precious metals and pearl-mirrored domes. Intricate jali work, inspired by the legendary designs of Samarkand and echoing the girih or kite patterns of Central Asia, finds its form in gold. Diamonds reflect the brilliance of ancient artistry.

Setting Pearls & diamond and Polishing

Stone setting is a precise craft, a testament to pure craftsmanship. Meticulously arranged in a stunning ombré tone, each stone enhances the piece’s depth and brilliance.
Finally, the entire piece is polished to perfection, giving it its final sparkle and smooth finish. Additional touches, such as engraving or coating, may also be added at this stage.

Final piece

It’s then beautifully packaged and ready to be worn and cherished.
